Titus designed the El Guapo to slip neatly between downhill and cross-country designations, into a category of mountain bikes that is rapidly expanding thanks to promises of one-bike-for-any-terrain versatility: All-Mountain. The El Guapo, however, is one of the few designs that truly deserve the All-Mountain title, thanks to its tough, lightweight frame, relaxed but still ascent-friendly geometry, and efficient yet plush 155mm Horst-link rear suspension, all of which allow you to tackle gnarly trails at aggressive speeds without paying for your pleasure in lactic agony on the return to the top. Titus cut no corners creating this do-it-all chassis, from hydroforming the 6061 aluminum front triangle for continuous strength and minimal weight, to CNC machining the forged-aluminum Horst rocker and swingarm yokes to shave away every last gram of non-essential material. The end result is a frame thats as suited to epic ridgeline rides as it is for sessioning the Whistler Bike Parklight, fast, and smooth over 95% of the terrain youll ever encounter, and tough enough to withstand season after season of abuse.
