Race Face used 3D engineering to shave every bit of excess material from the Deus XC Stem, creating a superlight stem for top-level cross-country racers and weight watchers. Thats no reason to think the forged 7050 aerospace aluminum Deus Stem is weak, or that its four-bolt clamp wont grip your handlebar like a deep-sea scallop on steroids. What it really means is that if you bolt this stem to your bike, you can stop huffing helium before races just to shave a few grams. Besides, we heard that doesnt even make you any lighter, just dumber.
