Kelty made the Chinook sleeping bag from synthetic Thermolite Quallo insulation which offers a high loft for padding and trapping heat, plus it insulates when its wet. The fleece-lined hood adds comfort while the generous baffle collar locks in heat. Kelty moved the seams of the Chinook 0F sleeping bag off the ground so heat wont leak out. At about five-pounds for a winter bag, the Chinook is still light enough for the occasional snowshoeing trip, and its always a good size to stuff in your trunk.
