LCC Boys are in the House
jimjack@gravityfed.com
Today We woke up to 5 inches of fresh and snowing, but not before being invaded at 1:00am by Dave Richards, Dave McReynolds and Will Burks. They had driven in from Verbier and were here to ski some powder in the trees and wait for the sky to go bluebird again. Waiting for the cab, the boys have a bite!
We took them to where we had found the powder the previous day. It was a true blast to be here ripping the trees and chutes of Jakobshorn with the same group of friends you spend so much time skiing with in Alta. Many laughs and big grins. LCC has invaded the Bolgenschanze and we are having a good time.
Tonight we are planning to see the local hockey team and then go watch Grom rip the half pipe.
The weather forecast is for snow until Friday but every morning we wake up to snow and by the afternoon the clouds burn off and we are treated to incredible vistas of the Alps and blower snow conditions. We will let you know how it all works out. The full moon is Saturday so we are hoping to get to the Hut for a night and get some turns on some new terrain.
Enjoy your skiing this week! We have all heard that it has been dumping and we know you are all out getting it. For those that aren't, go get some!
Peace and good wishes from Davos,
"The Swiss Alta Alpine Club" JJ,DW,AC,DR,DM,WB
